The increasing pushback on the townhall mobs inspired rightwing radio gasbag Dennis Prager to compose a whine entitled "I Thought 'Dissent Is Patriotic'". It's pretty much what you would expect from the title.
But at one point, he emphasizes how everything is relative:
Those who dissented when Alabama schools were racially integrated were not acting patriotically. Those who dissented against British rule in North America are considered our greatest patriots.
Well, one of his commenters - a true Republican, as we'll see - wasn't having any of that. The strong-stomached may read on....
With all due respect, I do not agree with you that the folks who protested against intergration in Alabama were unpatriotic. Many of them recognized it for what it was, and that the seeds of communism were being sowed. These people were patriotic to their race, to the South, and to Alabama.
In case you were wondering, "John E. Rebb" - as he signs himself - is in fact from Alabama, where McCain won 60% of the vote.
Let me let you in on a little secret. The civil rights movement wasn't about little black childeren going to a white school to get a better education, it was a communist plot from the get go, that has now borne its bitter fruit in the form of Barack Hussein Obama. Nikita Kruschev said they'd take us without firing a shot --- and it's beginning to look like he's right. In the end, the blacks didn't get a better education, and our schools were destroyed in the process. When the blacks took over our major Southern cities, they became third world sites of unprecedented corruption, and crack infested war zones. Tell me that I'm wrong that 97% of the black population in this country voted for Barack Hussein Obama. Am I wrong that if the election was held over again tommorow that 97% of the blacks would vote for him again?
The secret is out now, I guess. But I don't imagine that this kind of unreconstructed "keep the n*****s down" thinking bothers Prager - who opined of the l'affaire Gates-Crowley:
All it has taught, indeed reconfirmed, is how much more race-conscious the left is.
And it has taught us once again us that no matter how little anti-black racism actually exists in America, most blacks and nearly all of the left deny this.
But how would Prager - who was raised by Orthodox Jews - respond to the further contentions of Mr. Rebb?
Why don't you do an article sometime how Jews have contributed to the liberal thought in this country that have led us to the brink? Maybe beginning with Karl Marx (a German Jew) who wrote "Das Kapital" the communist manifesto, and the American Jewish founders of the NAACP, the ACLU, and the feminist movement with such notables as Bella Abzug, and Gloria Steinum (both American Jewishess)(please forgive my spelling). And don't forget the Jewish controlled media and entertainment industry. I'm not anti-semitic though, Jesus was a Jew, I believe.
Ah, the blacks and the Jews... the bogeymen who will never die. Unless Mr. Rebb has something to say about it:
Once all the quasi-conservatives begin to realize that it is about race, and that Obama is about revenge for perceived wrongs, the closer we will be to a solution ---albeit tragically perhaps a final one.
Final Solution? Get it?!
I note in closing that none of the 5 comments posted after Mr. Rebb's have any criticisms to make of it.
